Why we exist

FRC Living is part of FRC Group, a social enterprise. We are a business, run commercially and judged on the same things any furniture supplier is judged on: quality, reliability and service. The difference is what happens to the surplus.

100% of our profit funds End Furniture Poverty, the national campaign working to ensure no one in the UK has to live without essential furniture. We can only fund the campaign by being dedicated to what we do and being your chosen supplier because of product, service, price and value.. Every order you place furnishes a home now, and helps fund the work to make sure others are not left without one.

We care as much as we do about getting both the furniture and the service right because of the contribution to ending furniture poverty across the UK when we do.

Who we are

FRC Living is a specialist supplier of safety-compliant, durable and robust furniture for the social housing sector. The kind of furniture that is welcoming and homely, and provides the value for money because it is built for the realities of the settings you manage: temporary accommodation, supported and specialist housing with care and support, hostels and homelessness services, key worker accommodation and children’s homes.

We have done this for over 30 years, we know the realities of life in your services, meeting tenant needs, the budget pressures, your void cycle, the compliance requirements and the timelines, because we work to them every day. That is the difference between a supplier and FRC Living.

How we work

The last thing you need is a supplier who adds to the list. We work the way you do. We put the people first, and we keep up with the regulations and compliance requirements so you don’t have to.

One point of contact, one process, for every setting you manage. We specify against what the environment needs, hold core items in stock for delivery nationwide. We not only supply, deliver, install, take away the old and recycle the packaging, and leave a room ready to use. Then we stay on for the replacements, repairs, refreshes and managing the warranties. Our in-house DBS-checked delivery and install teams are trained to work alongside tenants and residents with respect and empathy, work around barriers when working in occupied schemes and residents’ home and a great communicators so you and your staff will always know what’s happening and when.
