Coventry City Council worked with Citizen to create temporary accommodation housing for homeless individuals and families. FRC gave a ‘one-stop shop’ service to Coventry City Council, installing window coverings, white goods, furniture including beds, cots, sofa beds and starter pack items such as fire retardant bedding and cooking utensils.
After agreeing the required specifications, FRC worked closely with the voids teams at Citizen to ensure that products were installed on time to enable people to move in quickly. FRC worked smoothly with the Citizen voids team to meet the requirements of Coventry City Council.
The outcome was 26 new units of temporary accommodation which enabled people to move into self-contained temporary accommodation.

“FRC’s expertise in working with local authorities and social housing organisations has been invaluable in the success of the new temporary housing units. They ensured we had compliant products suitable for use in temporary accommodation and the team’s professionalism showed in how they worked with Citizen to ensure everything was completed on time.”
